Hi honey thought this was really funny ..I was reading this note from No Doubt's Gwen Stefani on the band's web site. In it she uses a Mariahism..(most likely as a joke, but I love her)

"Hey Lambs,
It's me, G-loc here on a Saturday, doing overdubs in LA on our day off from the U2 tour. I think we might just be having the time of our lives. Not only did we have the best year ever making our new record, but we are also ending it on tour with a band that has been the soundtrack to our lives. All through our high school and college years, U2 had been there doing their thing. I have always respected and loved them but now with this touring experience it has gone to the next level. These guys are the real deal. We stepped on stage for our first time in over a year opening for them at Madison Square Garden in NYC. The show couldn't have been more intense. The energy of the city coming together after the tragedies of September 11th was gorgeous. I really felt lucky to be there with my best friends offering our music as a way to heal and distract from the confusion and pain of these times. Seeing U2 under normal circumstances is emotional enough, but with the combination of their music and a city in mourning, the words of the songs took on a whole new meaning. By the end of the concert everyone in the audience was in tears. So much has happened since then. Tomorrow in Dallas will be our last show together. We are all sad to have this magical time end. I don't think I would feel this motivated about touring right now if it wasn't for being out with U2. Tell you more about it later.

MARIAH MAKES UK RETURN
Mariah Carey will star alongside Robbie Williams on kids' TV this weekend in the UK, dotmusic can report. Both Carey and Williams will make cameo appearances on the last ever episode of the SM:TV sketch show, 'Chums'. The show, in which presenters Cat & Dec will tie the knot, will see Mariah as Cat's maid of honour with Robbie taking on the role of vicar. Carey's performance will mark the singer's first return to British screens since her much-publicised breakdown. Mariah and Robbie are both scheduled to appear on CD:UK immediately after their star-turns.

Oh my god so I'm sitting on the computer well not on but you know what I mean. I'm just looking at the site and all of a sudden my sister screams TERRY!!! I went by her and merry xmaS to me a mc commercial for the Greatest Hits album the best MC commercial ever!!! Oh it was wonderful, but I don't remebr that much about it b/c I was going crazy! It was better than the 1st time I saw the Glitter commercial!!!! IT was on E! during the Aaliyah special so watch out for it!

Last Night's E! True Hollywood Story

Hello Lambs,

I was watching MC's E! True Hollywood story and I came across several interesting errors that bothered me.

1. They said Butterfly was M's 4th album ... Hullo? her 4th? I don't think so.

2. They said that she appeared at a mall in Garden City, New Jersey days before her hospitalization in July 2001, but it is Garden City, New York (on long Island). I should know since I practically live around the corner from there.

3. They said that Tommy Mottola was the newly appointed CEO of Columbia records when he met Mariah but I always heard that at that time it was called CBS records.

4. They also neglected to include a lot of information in her life and almost made it seem like daydream never existed. Meanwhile daydream is one of her most successful albums.

5. There was also some other information that was incorrect but I can't remember it all at this second so if I remember I will e-mail you lambs.

Fan Story From BET
Peggy sent me her story from BET last week and here it is....
I'll skip all the before-trip drama and get to the most important! My friend Denis and I come from Montreal, yet when we heard about the special, we just knew we had to go. So we took the bus to NYC late the night before and traveled all night to get there at around 7:30 in the morning. Not even tired, we went for breakfast and then headed for BET. We were bringing with us two beautiful letters and a wonderful original song that Denis and I composed especially for Mariah, expressing our deep feelings for her. It's called "Rainbow Lady". It was the best gift we could ever think of since Denis is a singer and we are both blind, so we couldn't do banners or things of that nature. We got to BET at 11:30 AM. The first thing we had in mind was to find Regina that we were supposed to meet there. However, the security got us in before everybody, probably to give us a hand, but I don't particularly like to be treated differently than others. But whatever. People came in later on and there, we finally met Regina who came to us directly. What a sweetheart! She was very kind and I liked her at once. We shared our gift with her by giving her a copy of our song.

But let's move to the main subject, the performances. We first went upstairs to see Faith Evans who was great and gave a powerful vocal performance. Then, we went back down and had to wait for quite a while to see our Mariah, but we were totally excited and it was worth the wait. Before the taping started, the choir vocalists seemed to have a party up there fooling around and singing! When M came on stage, she was simply radiant and uplifted everybody at once, as she started singing "Joy To The World"!!! What a version!!! Her voice was amazing and the choir was great too and we all got crazy, head over heels!!! Denis and I were singing along cause we knew the lyrics! Then came Boys To Men with their acapella version of "Silent Night", great interpretation! They had to do it a few times though to make sure they were satisfied with it. Finally, mariah joined them on "One Sweet Day" and there, they certainly didn't seem sad at first! Hee hee. Their second version was surely better, but it seemed to me that MC was not as much in the feeling as she could have been. I guess those things happen! And the time was also rushing them a little cause it was already quite late. Still, she was great and we were again singing our lungs out on that song!!! As a whole, I loved this show and was very happy. Then we were allowed to stay, along with a group of select fans to see Mariah and talk to her. There came back Regina, when I least expected her, to guide us and take us with her, Amanda and a few other fans. At first, I wasn't sure to recognize her, but hey, it didn't take me long to do so. We all chatted for a while as we were waiting for M and I liked everybody there, we were like a family. Finally, we saw Mariah who recognized us at once cause we had seen her before, we took a pic with her, gave her our letters and had an autograph on Glitter. But sadly, her people refused her to take our song and we were very upset, but what can you do? Anyway, we may be able to do something about it.

So then we left and took the bus back to Montreal that same night!!! We got home at 5:00 in the mornig and were exhausted, but it was worth it!!! Thanks to you Regina and all the others I had the chance to exchange with! The lambs are very special!!!

Westlife are teaming up with MARIAH CAREY to record another duet. The band hope the link-up will boost their bid to break the US. They also plan to appear with Mariah at the Top Of The Pops awards on Friday to sing her track Never Too Far together. The two camps first joined forces to make the number 1 hit Against All Odds earlier this year. They got on really well recording the Phil Collins classic on the island of Capri, and troubled Mariah was touched by the boys support when she suffered a mental breakdown this year. She asked Nicky, Shane, Kian, Mark and Bryan to join her for the Top Of The pops gig. There was real chemistry when they worked on Against All Odds. "We want to record with her again because it would be a great way to bolster her profile in the UK and introduce Westlife to the Americans". The two parties will discuss possible songs this weekend although the lads are keen to write their own material with her. They will go in the studio early next year.

There is a small cute picture of Mariah that is gorgeous, but it one we've all seen before, and i still cant work the scanner, im sorry I'm so daft!!!!

AGAINST ALL SENSE
Westlife are to record another duet with Mariah Carey, it has emerged. The Irish boyband, who collaborated with Carey earlier this year to record a version of the Phil Collins track, 'Against All Odds', are keen to get back in the studio next year.

Speaking to a UK tabloid, Westlife's manager, Louis Walsh, explained: There was real chemistry when they worked on 'Against All Odds'. We want to record with her again because it would be a great way to bolster her profile in the UK and introduce Westlife to the Americans. The transatlantic team is also planning to perform at the inaugural Top Of The Pops Awards this Friday.

The Westlife boys will join the recently hospitalised diva for a performance of her song, 'Never Too Far'. TOTP's all-star line-up will also feature Kylie Minogue, Atomic Kitten, Jennifer Lopez, Wheatus, Travis and Hear'Say. Wyclef Jean will also perform a number of hits with Welsh crooner Tom Jones.

According to the tabs, the troubled gal was touched by the boys' support when she suffered a mental breakdown this year, so she suggested they hook up again. Amanda's Story
Here is Amanda's story from BET last week...
A LONG day indeed...but well worth any aggravation that led us all to Miss M. I have never met such wonderful lambs! Regina, Andrew and Hillary are the best. I have so enjoyed developing friendships with other MC fans who love her as much as I do. So...I picked up Regina and Alex at Penn STation/34th street in the city, and then we got Hillary on the way uptown to BET studios. ANdrew met us there and held a place in the line for all of us. 2 hours later we were inside and waiting for what seemed like forever to go into the studio. We got a little separated from each toher...but Regina and I stuck together pretty closely and therefore were standing pretty close to each other throughout most of the taping. (we are both is bright red!) Faith Evnas was great and we enjoyed her performance very much. But on to the REAL reason we were all there... MC. Who floored me with the first "ensemble" she wore on to the stage...an amazing red satin number that took my breath away. I have now seen her in person, met her and been very up close and personal several times...but this lady still takes my breath away with her beauty. She was AMAZING... Joy to the World, her first song...was incredible. Brought the house down. I cannot wait to watch it on the 18th! after the song she took Regina's fan book...and my "Christmas Fan book"....we were so glad she got all of the things we made for her. As everyone has probably read in the other accounts of that day, we all got to stick around and meet-n-greet with MC. She was the best..so kind and so generous with all of us. MANY thanks to REGINA for all of her help in that special forum(now that's DEVOTION! ;) )....you will never know how grateful I am for those moments with MC and with all of the fellow lambs that were there. Everytime I meet her..my respect and admiration grows.....

Glitter Won't Shine In Portugal
Nuno contacted a local magazine and asked if they will be doing an interview with Mariah anytime soon and they responded that yes they would. They also said that Glitter will not be hitting any of the cinemas in Portugal because it will be going directly to video.

Glitta Doing Great In Philippines!!!

I'd just like to share that 'glitter' is doing really well here in the Philippines! The major theaters here are jam-packed with people who just can't get enough of Mariah. The reviews are yet to come (but knowing the critics here, it'll probably bad) but the ticket sales have spoken: 'Glitter' is a big, big hit! Maybe not as big as 'Harry Potter' (the best-selling movie here this week, 'Glitter' is second!) but successful nonetheless. 'Glitter' the CD is doing well also, reaching #1 in tower records here, knocking 'Britney' off the top spot :)

Hi just got off the phone from a contact and this is what I got:

"Mariah was extremely happy to see her fans, like she is you know, she loves her lambies, but there was a slight hiccup in Munich as J.lo stayed in the same hotel as her, there was some confusion to who were there to see Mariah and who were there to see J.lo".

So Mariah really loves to see her lambs, so make sure that you make it really clear you are a Mariah fan and as Mariah goes back to Berlin on the 1 December 2001, you German lambz make sure you are out there in greater strength with banners and stuff...this also applies to us brits as no one knows where the pong is staying.

* Mariah will leave for rehersal to TOTP awards on 6.40pm on thursday 29/11/01.
* Mariah will leave her hotel on friday @ 12.30pm to go to MENA to do the TOTP awards

While I was listening to "There For Me" I was thinking. If Mariah had a number hit every year with Sony promoting her songs and "There For Me" is being promoted by Sony, then if we request it will definitely go to #1 before the year is out. I was reading some of the fan info on how many times they play Never To Far/Hero Medley and There For Me without fans requesting it like they do the other songs and it seems Sony is doing great with promoting their music. Fan Gathering In The UK
Matte sent me his story about how the fan gathering in the UK went:

Around 20 of us met each other at midday and when Ash arrived he handed out some cool Loverboy and Glitter posters and we took some photos. The group was really cool and some lambs made such an effort with their clothes! There were some beautiful contributions to the fanbook Ash will give Mariah including fantastic artwork from Charli and Bobby! We saw the movie at Odeon and even though the screen was tiny everyone enjoyed it and didn't budge until the entire credits had ended! We gave Mariah plenty of applause as deserved!

Now that we had all seen Glitter we felt inspired so we went next door to the Capital FM Radio offices and got our posters out (and I put my sandwhich board on again) and started chanting "WE WANT MARIAH!" and "PLAY DON'T STOP!". We kept calling them on the phone too and in the end they turned that line off! It only made us shout louder though! One sweet lamb, Sarah, had a VERY loud voice which was cool and she was bellowing the chants so that there was no chance they weren't hearing us! We soon got some response as faces started appearing at the office windows and a large crowd started to gather around us because we were so loud! It was really cool! Whilst we were here we also sang Hero all the way through and I was standing next to a cool guy called Bobby who could sing really well and put me to shame!

Sarah noticed the main entrance door was open and unguarded so in we went in full force and within 10 seconds of walking through the door we had security flying down the stairs who politely got us to leave. We went around the back of the offices (with a few of the 'general public' following us) and chanted some more!

Once we had made our message clear and throats started to become soar we headed over to a Starbucks and sat down in a large group for some refreshments and got to know each other better.

Ash had brought along a friend from Japan who gave out some really cool Japanese promo postcards so thanx to him for that! (We also had a visit from a great fan from Hungary, called Zoli). Ash also gave out some stills from the film to people who correctly answered some Mariah trivia questions! And a lamb named Nick (the guy who had his question answered by Mariah in her MSN chat) won the prize Ash made for the Best Dressed. He had made a really cool top with the Glitter logo on it (Charli made a fab one too but she already had a few prizes).

And then after almost an hour I had to leave to catch my train. We all had a great time and it was really cool hooking up with other UK Mariah fans, especially such cool ones!

Thanx to everone who came along and I hope to see you all again when we go to London to support Mariah during her visit here very soon!

Hi lambs all over there! We don't know whether the fans from other countries know that Mariah is not being promoted here, in Spain. BET Christmas Special
Joey informed me that the Christmas special, called BET Christmas Remembrances Special will air on Dec. 18th from 9-10pm EST. IT will feature other singers besides BoysIIMen, Faith and Mariah. If you miss it, it will reair on Christmas at 8 pm EST.

Sans Sparkle
The way things are going for Mariah Carey, it looks like she needs inspiration from one of her hit numbers Hero. Just a few months ago everything was going right for her. She had just signed a $ 100 million contract with a record company and was all set for her new album and a leading role in a film. Maybe she found too much in her plate and with a thud. Her whole world came crashing down. Twice she required hospitalization, her new album got a lukewarm response and her film career came down before it took off.

The 12-track original soundtrack of the film, in which she plays a young upcoming club singer trying to break into the big league ( a little Madonna-esque theme), has the most unlike combination where a horde of rappers are lined up and overshadow Mariah Carey. Whitney Houston and Madonna have used the movie-plank to further elevate their musical careers, unlike Mariah they took full advantage of the film to showcase their talent.

This album has Mariah's trademark ballads and uptempo pop numbers too, but as mentioned earlier the line up of rap / hip hop stars takes the shine off the album. Of the 12 tracks, Mariah has just five solo numbers and is reduced to a supporting role on the rest of the numbers. The album opens with Loverboy remix featuring Da Brat, Ludacris, Twenty II and Shawnna and ends with it again, this time featuring Cameo. More such tracks follow and on wonders why a singer whose forte is ballads did not make them theme of the album.

Ballads like Lead The Way, All My Life and Want You do appear but they fail to lift the album. The best track is Last Night A DJ Saved My Life but here Busta Rhymes, Fabolous and DJ Clue steal the limelight.

With problems in her personal life (she has separated from her husband) and the film and album both failing to take off, she needs to find the 'hero in her' to overcome this phase.

Mariah just performed at the Ard Victoria SportGala. There are four caps of the event in Gallery 3, thanks to Honey and Kate from Butterflies Are Free. Mariah performed Never Too Far/Hero and from what I hear, people said it seemed to be live and Mariah did an incredible job. Tomorrow, Honey and Kate will have pictures of Mariah arriving in Munich for us.

Andrew's Story
Andrew, who is a very nice lamb and who I met at BET this Wednesday sent me in his story and here it is...
I want to say Thank You to Amanda, Regina, Alex, Hillary, Joe and everyone else who was at BET for making it so much fun.  Although it was freezing outside, we had lots o' laughs!  The whole concert taping was amazing, and meeting MC was awesome! (Thanks REGINA!)  I think my favorite part of the entire experience was watching MC and Boyz II Men work together on One Sweet Day.  They hadn't performed it together for some time, and to see them huddle up and go through the harmonies before performing it the 2nd time was awesome.  It wasn't about the show, it was about a singers working together.  Ok ok, meeting Mariah definitely topped that, but I was in a daze, and she was SO BEAUTIFUL, I can't even tell you - I think my mind was on auto pilot!  She signed a key card for a bar in Chelsea near my apartment for me, it was all I had!  I didn't expect to freakin meet her!  HAHA!  Regina said that in the future, I should always be fully prepared – and trust me I will be!   So thanks again to Regina for being so awesome and running this site and doing all this work to keep us informed, and thanks to everyone who was there cause we had a good time!  (especially Amanda – love ya tons).

I think I reported this earlier in the year but I'll report it once again. Janel informed me that Mariah is in the MTV book called MTV Uncensored on pages 58, 147, 235 and 250. The book is about $30 or $40 but it features some nice full pages of M, if you want to pick it up.

Important Dates/New Specials
I updated the Important Dates list today, adding the release date for the Greatest Hits cd and Never Too Far and some new appearances you can find Mariah in. VH1 is doing two new special in December, which will feature Mariah in them. First off, is 2001: The Year In Music. This looks back at everything that happened this year and Mariah is one of the artists being featured. It premiere on December 26th at 10 pm. Next, is Who Knows The Band, which airs at 5 pm on December 27th.

If you missed Arsenio, basically all they showed was Mariah performing Vision of Love for the first time. It really wasn't anything new.

Hillary's Story
Hillary sent me her story from BET on Wednesday and here it is:
Well, I'll forget all the drama and head right to the good stuff. When Mariah first came on stage in this gorgeous red satin dress I was just in awe. I couldn't believe it was actually her she was SO beautiful! No picture can even capture half her beauty in real life. I was standing right in front of her- unfortunately i was being squished by a camera man too! SO I didn't have that much room to clap my hands or move more than my head. But MC understood and just smiled at me- or was it for the camera? Hmmm.. just kiddin! I'd made this little doggie with a pink and white Mariah shirt and a PINK NY cap- she just kept lookin' at it and smiling. Unfortunately once the song was over I didn't get a chance to give it to her.

Once Boyz II Men came onstage Shawn  noticed my doggie- although at first since he couldn't see it that well he called it a bear, but that's okay! He said it was really cute. I told him although I didn't make the dog myself- It's a doggie Shawn not a bear! I did make the baseball cap and the shirt. He smiled and laughed saying whooh! That must'a been some work with that! Then he pantamimed sewing and said "You're fingers musta really been bleeding!" He was so sweet!

Then Mariah came and they all sang. Shawn pointed out my Doggie to her and she nodded and smiled cuz she knew I had it. ANd I knew at that point that she wanted it. So once the song was over she reached for it and I started to hand it to her but security intercepted us. I mean come on! Well then I hurried over to Shawn who was such a lamb and asked if he'd give it to her, since he saw the situation security was creatin' for us. She said don't worry she'll get it back to ya.

She and I were supposed to get our pic taken but due to the number of peeps there I kinda let them have her and stood off in the corner.

I don't know how but Mariah somehow managed to slip away from the crowd and over to me again. Suddenly she just grabbed my hand and held it tightly. SHe just held it and said thanks for trusting me and louise and for being so patient.

Hi, I was in heaven at this point!! But then Louise was back with my CD and Mariah signed it quick and snapped a quick pic with me before going back into the crowd o' fans!

Singer MARIAH CAREY has hit out at claims that she has had breast implants - insisting her curvy new look is thanks to a cheap bra.

The troubled singer - who recently had two spells in rehab after an emotional breakdown - has returned to the world stage looking more voluptuous than ever.

But she is quick to answer claims that she had surgery to boost her bust. When recently asked if she had a boob-job, Mariah says, "What made you think I did that?

Michelle, from Star Mariah, informed me that Mairah in is two issues of the British magazine called Sugar. The first issue is December 2001 and she is on pages 52 & 53. She's in an article called "Are our celebs cracking up?". It talks about Mariah and other celebs breaking down. The second issue is the January 2002 issue. She is on page 123. It's a full page ad for the Glitter movie. I got these imported magazines at a Wal-Mart Super Center.

Viva/New Pics
Honey and Kate, from Butterflies Are Free, sent me some caps of Mariah's interview and performances (Never Too Far/Hero and Without You she sang) from today's Viva. They told me that Mariah was so cute and they were all laughing every few moments.

Plus, Stacy scanned two pictures her friend took of Mariah at the NBC Thanksgiving special in Schenectady. Stacy has been a fan from the beginning and is sending me a whole package with older pictures to scan for the website. So hopefully we should have a bunch of old, cool news article from way back when for you by next week.

Finally, Anne sent me scans from the latest issue of NOW magazine. The article is NOT nice at all about Glitter but it has some nice pics, so check it out, if you like. Check out all the pics in Gallery 3.

I believe Danielle might of already reported this but I will report it agian. Mathieu told me that the second single from France will be Last Night A DJ Saved My Life. It is set to be released on December 11th, according to the FNAC site.

Glitter Drawing Autograph
I got out my dad's poloroid camera, which takes VERY bad quality pictures and snapped the drawing I did of the Glitte cover. All the color of the poster went away but I made my nephew and neice stand next to it earlier in the week to show how big it was to my friends. Fans Vs. Virgin Spain
My buddy Mari asked me to post this and here it is:
We don't know if the fans from other countries knows that Mariah isn't getting any promotion here in Spain. Her sales are coming down , and that's because Virgin Spain don't do anything to make it change. They don't promote her in the magazines, in the stores, on radio or TV, they talk very bad about her and the saddest thing, is that they aren't going to bring her to Spain. And she has many fans here :(

We are feeling the change, from a company like Sony, who promotes their artist very well in Spain, to a company like Virgin, a company where usually hang up the phone when you call to ask something about 'Mariah Carey' or 'Janet Jackson'. What a heck is that????? They even lie to the fans...

Some people from Virgin Spain have said that they won't do anything to promote Mariah or Janet because the poor sales, and they don't bring her to Spain. But…IF THEY DON'T PROMOTE THEM… THEY WON'T SELL!!!! 

Like all of you know, these days Mariah has an European promo Tour, and she has cancelled the dates in Spain, ONLY SPAIN, (just like Janet on the All For You Prom Tour), and she'll go to Paris, London and others... The fans are like mad with Virgin Spain right now.

We want to be united and do something... we are still thinking what can we do, but, the first what we want to do, it's something similar like when the 'Someone To Call My Lover' single from Janet wasn't going to be released in USA. They make a petition, with signs from fans all over internet or something like that.

We need your help, because we want to know how exactly was this campaign, how to get the signs, and WHERE WE HAVE TO SEND THE PETTITION!

And, of course, when it comes, we need your signatures, doesn't matter if you don't live in Spain, if u really wish the best for your Diva.

We think Virgin USA don't know about our situation, and they must know about that. I think they want big sales in all the countries, why not Spain?

BET Christmas Special
Joey informed me that the Christmas special, called BET Christmas Remembrances Special will air on Dec. 18th from 9-10pm EST. IT will feature other singers besides BoysIIMen, Faith and Mariah. If you miss it, it will reair on Christmas at 8 pm EST.

Sans Sparkle
The way things are going for Mariah Carey, it looks like she needs inspiration from one of her hit numbers Hero. Just a few months ago everything was going right for her. She had just signed a $ 100 million contract with a record company and was all set for her new album and a leading role in a film. Maybe she found too much in her plate and with a thud. Her whole world came crashing down. Twice she required hospitalization, her new album got a lukewarm response and her film career came down before it took off.

The 12-track original soundtrack of the film, in which she plays a young upcoming club singer trying to break into the big league ( a little Madonna-esque theme), has the most unlike combination where a horde of rappers are lined up and overshadow Mariah Carey. Whitney Houston and Madonna have used the movie-plank to further elevate their musical careers, unlike Mariah they took full advantage of the film to showcase their talent.

This album has Mariah's trademark ballads and uptempo pop numbers too, but as mentioned earlier the line up of rap / hip hop stars takes the shine off the album. Of the 12 tracks, Mariah has just five solo numbers and is reduced to a supporting role on the rest of the numbers. The album opens with Loverboy remix featuring Da Brat, Ludacris, Twenty II and Shawnna and ends with it again, this time featuring Cameo. More such tracks follow and on wonders why a singer whose forte is ballads did not make them theme of the album.

Ballads like Lead The Way, All My Life and Want You do appear but they fail to lift the album. The best track is Last Night A DJ Saved My Life but here Busta Rhymes, Fabolous and DJ Clue steal the limelight.

With problems in her personal life (she has separated from her husband) and the film and album both failing to take off, she needs to find the 'hero in her' to overcome this phase.

Mariah in Munich (Part2)
Mariah just performed at the Ard Victoria SportGala. There are four caps of the event in Gallery 3, thanks to Honey and Kate from Butterflies Are Free. Mariah performed Never Too Far/Hero and from what I hear, people said it seemed to be live and Mariah did an incredible job. Tomorrow, Honey and Kate will have pictures of Mariah arriving in Munich for us.

Andrew's Story
Andrew, who is a very nice lamb and who I met at BET this Wednesday sent me in his story and here it is...
I want to say Thank You to Amanda, Regina, Alex, Hillary, Joe and everyone else who was at BET for making it so much fun.  Although it was freezing outside, we had lots o' laughs!  The whole concert taping was amazing, and meeting MC was awesome! (Thanks REGINA!)  I think my favorite part of the entire experience was watching MC and Boyz II Men work together on One Sweet Day.  They hadn't performed it together for some time, and to see them huddle up and go through the harmonies before performing it the 2nd time was awesome.  It wasn't about the show, it was about a singers working together.  Ok ok, meeting Mariah definitely topped that, but I was in a daze, and she was SO BEAUTIFUL, I can't even tell you - I think my mind was on auto pilot!  She signed a key card for a bar in Chelsea near my apartment for me, it was all I had!  I didn't expect to freakin meet her!  HAHA!  Regina said that in the future, I should always be fully prepared – and trust me I will be!   So thanks again to Regina for being so awesome and running this site and doing all this work to keep us informed, and thanks to everyone who was there cause we had a good time!  (especially Amanda – love ya tons).

I think I reported this earlier in the year but I'll report it once again. Janel informed me that Mariah is in the MTV book called MTV Uncensored on pages 58, 147, 235 and 250. The book is about $30 or $40 but it features some nice full pages of M, if you want to pick it up.

Mariah in Munich
Check out this picture of Mariah in Germany today. That girl right next to Mariah (in the green scarf) is my best friend Anja and MC knows that Anja and me are best friends and AHH I am just so happy for her, I had to get this picture up on the site right away. Important Dates/New Specials
I updated the Important Dates list today, adding the release date for the Greatest Hits cd and Never Too Far and some new appearances you can find Mariah in. VH1 is doing two new special in December, which will feature Mariah in them. First off, is 2001: The Year In Music. This looks back at everything that happened this year and Mariah is one of the artists being featured. It premiere on December 26th at 10 pm. Next, is Who Knows The Band, which airs at 5 pm on December 27th.

If you missed Arsenio, basically all they showed was Mariah performing Vision of Love for the first time. It really wasn't anything new.

Hillary's Story
Hillary sent me her story from BET on Wednesday and here it is:
Well, I'll forget all the drama and head right to the good stuff. When Mariah first came on stage in this gorgeous red satin dress I was just in awe. I couldn't believe it was actually her she was SO beautiful! No picture can even capture half her beauty in real life. I was standing right in front of her- unfortunately i was being squished by a camera man too! SO I didn't have that much room to clap my hands or move more than my head. But MC understood and just smiled at me- or was it for the camera? Hmmm.. just kiddin! I'd made this little doggie with a pink and white Mariah shirt and a PINK NY cap- she just kept lookin' at it and smiling. Unfortunately once the song was over I didn't get a chance to give it to her.

Once Boyz II Men came onstage Shawn  noticed my doggie- although at first since he couldn't see it that well he called it a bear, but that's okay! He said it was really cute. I told him although I didn't make the dog myself- It's a doggie Shawn not a bear! I did make the baseball cap and the shirt. He smiled and laughed saying whooh! That must'a been some work with that! Then he pantamimed sewing and said "You're fingers musta really been bleeding!" He was so sweet!

Then Mariah came and they all sang. Shawn pointed out my Doggie to her and she nodded and smiled cuz she knew I had it. ANd I knew at that point that she wanted it. So once the song was over she reached for it and I started to hand it to her but security intercepted us. I mean come on! Well then I hurried over to Shawn who was such a lamb and asked if he'd give it to her, since he saw the situation security was creatin' for us.
