WELCOME
One thing that is constantly proclaimed in various TV shows and glossy magazines is that your clothes and style should always show your personality, and who better follows that motto than Mariah? Mariah's clothes, or "ensembles" as she likes to call them, are always grand, sexy and flirty (and sometimes just plain over-the-top), yet always worn with that endearing childlike, disarming overcoat. A perfect match to her equally contradictory persona.
Join me on this rollercoaster ride of Mariah's wardrobe that will chronicle the best-selling female artist of all time, and moreover fashion icon's, journey through this not-so-easily navigated runway known as haute couture. There will be ups and downs, but as we all know, Mariah always ends on a high note.

10/23/2006: "Black Is The New Black"
Hey, sometimes black really is the only way to go when you want to keep it casual, but chic, which Miss Mariah proves excellently in this comfy yet slimming travel getup. Paired with a set of cooler-than-thou shades and a simple cut designer heel that adds to the slimmed-down effect, Mimi was sure to turn heads upon arriving in Narita, Japan on October 13 for one of the few international stops on her current world tour. Pros: the length of the pants, the thin shoestraps, and the overall chicness of the ensemble. Cons: the hair. Sideswept bangs in combination with the cute ponytail would've made for a more flattering look. Grade: C-

valour track suits were a bit 2 years ago. this outfit does not do good for her shoulders. i am enjoying the non-orange moment we're having with the makeup. lol.

this is probably the most flattering outfit of the four i've seen recently. i give her credit for wearing much more clothing this time. the long ruffed up pants and matching sweatshirt is cute, and it covers a lot of skin. i was never fond of mariah's pony tails. everytime she has that hairdo, her face looks big, her cheeks stick out, and her head looks small. grade: B

The outfit is a weird choice, but sooo Mariah. She was probably comfortable in it for her long flight to Japan.
And, yeah, she's got a little bit of a full face, but I love it when she pulls the hair back. I actually wish she'd cut it short for once.

i really never was into this outfit. i don't see how the classic shoes combine with the informal looks... but we're talkin about Mariah, so high heels are a given for every costume.

I just loathe that thin, cheap looking chain that seems to be permanently glued between her breasts these days. Her ponytail, though questionable, does not bother me as much, and I don't think any bangs would have made it look any less awkward. Her cheeks are simply too full to have all of her hair pulled back. She needs hair on the sides of her face to balance them out.
