my apologies. i was mislead by the chart because i thought that column 3 was digital sales to date of this year.

Is there a reason why we can't get the week to week sales figures for Merry Christmas? I would think this site would want to know these figures.

I am afraid you misread the post. The song did not sell 25,223 downloads this week it sold 58,588. The number 25,223 represents that many more downloads this week than last week's tally of 33,365. The chart is pretty clear. Do the mat. 645,882+ 58,588 = 704,470

can you also do a chart for 'merry christmas' album sales each week. i want to see how it's doing week after week, so i can compare mariah's christmas album sales with other artists' christmas albums sales like celine dion. thanks.

I think the 58,588 downloads is the most the song has ever sold in 1 week. I could be wrong about that.These numbers are very impressive. I think she'll log 850,000 easily this year and the song will be platinum next year.
