Interesting Tidbits:

After performing in Toronto as part of her Charmbracelet Tour in 2003, Mariah took time off in Toronto at Wonderland Amusement Park. She took fans and friends around the park, happily trying all the rides and unwinding after the long weeks of the tour. Her day included trying the bumper cars, riding all the roller coasters, and she even stopped to try some cotton candy.

Mariah filmed her movie "Glitter" in Toronto. Scenes for the Madison Square Garden shot were actually done at a Toronto arena with a small audience - then digitally filled in to mirror the capacity of Madison Square Garden.

I went to TAOM tonight and it was great! Mariah killed it. She sounded fabulous and she looked fabulous too. Everyone in the crowd was singing along with her (including me and my friend) and I was screaming my head off the whole time. It was the best concert I've been to, I was speechless by the end. MC is truly an entertainer.

She's real. I don't know if it's because I was lucky enough to be in the front row, but tonight she seemed more real than ever. For once, it felt like if I had been able to touch her, she wouldn't just dissipate before me. What is it about her that is so alive and so completely there? I can't even remember what they are, because everything is a blur after the concert, but there were so many tid-bitted nuances that made me fall in love with her music over and over and over. I felt like I had access to all new remixes. There is nothing in this world like watching her perform live. Long live Mimi!

I know I speak for more than just myself when I say the concert tonight was just inspirational. Her coming out afterwards for a chat with the fans, brief as it was, was much appreciated by everyone there. She is definitely a very special lady.

Mariah is an outstanding performer!! Her Toronto concert was GREAT last night!! She knows how to put on a show. Before Mariah, Sean Paul was on for an opening act that got everybody going. He had everybody up having a good time. We all enjoyed Sean Paul but we truly were there for Mariah. After about a 40 minute wait or so anticipation was building. But before we knew it, Mariah was out there doing her thing!

She had a set list of songs with her hits from The Emancipation of Mimi, but also took us back to some of the older stuff. Some songs she sang were: Fantasy, Dreamlover, Always Be My Baby, Heartbreaker, Vision of Love, I'll Be There, and Hero. Not only was she sounding great but she was looking great too! Her first outfit was a little black bikini, with a black cape over it. Not to mention she was wearing seven inch heels! Only a true diva could pull something off like that. Later on in the show she was wearing beautiful dresses that looked so stunning on her.

It was a great night and I had the best time ever!! Mariah is great, and if you are a fan seeing this show could be the best thing you could do for yourself.

I ended up going to the 2nd concert at the ACC, however this time i was further away from the stage and I sat at an end seat on the floor, with my luck i was across from actress Amanda Bynes and all her friends who sat in the 1st row of the 100's. What a joke! this became. She tried keeping her hair in her face so noone would recognize her. People surrounded her for pictures and autographs, and security stocked up infront of her, come on now you're out somewhere and you're famous and you used ACC security to keep people away. She smiled for pictures with fans but once everyone left she rolled her eyes and sat back down bitching about it with her way too cool boyfriend seen in the picture on his cell phone. He ended up telling security on me that I took a picture of them with a flash and had a real camera and not a cell phone. Security came over and said something to me about deleting it or if I catch you, something blah blah, I didn't really pay attention because all i could think was what a loser to tell on me.

Anyways because of her being there and me on the end seat where Mariah made her entrance to stage B, I was totally annoyed by security all night yelling at people, taking loudly to one another, pushing me away as they blocked Mariah's entrance, telling me to put even my cell phone away even if I checked the time even, it made the concert not fun in this aspect.

Also I was let down by Mariah coming back a second time and not changing the set list not 1 new song. At least do Stay the Night, anyways less songs makes a more dissapointing show, and Trey Lorenz single must not be going over well with crowds because he did covers of songs such as Crazy by Gnarls Barkley and some Luther Vandross. He also fit words into I'll Be There as he walked down the stairs on stage. He sang "soon as I get down these stairs and don't trip and fall I'll be there."

Well the end result is I saw Mariah for a 4th time and she is the Best! no matter what she does. And a quick note Amanda Bynes got to meet Sean Paul and Mariah because she went up to the stage guarded by security and was out her seat for a bit. It goes to show you need to be famous to meet a star. The average fan just gets security in their face!
