HBF gave me 2 free front row tickets and 2 backstage passes. We went to Tokyo Budoukan at about 5pm. I attached my big "I love MC" poster at the fence and I was wearing sunvoisor with MC icon.
After the lights went off, we heard the melody of Heartbraker(Remix), And then, Mariah Carey appeared from the right side of the stage. All the fans (18,000) screamd!!! Her voice was so strong (I didn't know how beautiful her voice was by CDs) and she hit the high notes many times. Amazing!!!
Wonderful!!! The stage was well designed and had lots of color. When she sang "Hero", she went down the stairs and she stopped just in front of me!!!
MC & I were hand in hand and I could listen the most favorite song.
After the show, we went backstage and I asked MC "Have you ever read my fanmail? I sent fanmail everyday." and she said "No. but here is your letter, I will, I will" she smiled. I handed my fanletter to MC in person!!!
Believe me, her show was wonderful!!! Go get tickets now!!!
I want to say "Thank you" to Mariah Carey and MonarC staff and HBF staff and Jennifer. Thank you so much!!!
More details...
When I arrived at Budokan, I found a shop that sold many MC goods. There are concert leaflets, T-shirts, small mirror, cell phone straps, pen lights(you can use it in the concert), etc.
When I entered budoukan, the staff didn't allow to take flowers and cameras.
Before the concert started, They aired Stevie Wonder's songs such as Higher Ground, Boogie on Reggae Woman, Sir Duke, etc.
The time was 18:50pm, the show of Bel & NaeNae and Sadie a.k.a. Dat Baby strated. They were so young, but their performance was wonderful. They wore pink tank tops and short blue jeans. And then big curtain appered on the stage. The design was Charmbracelet.
At 19:10pm, The remix songs Dreamlover and Honey, Hero were played for a bit, "Looking in (Intro)" was playing.
After Mariah Carey appeard from the right side, She sang "Heartbraker" with high notes.
In "Dearmlover" and "Through The Rain", she wore pink mini dress. In TTR, I cried (I've gotten through hard time and I've seen a Rainbow).
At the end of "My all", the stage was arranged for back dancers. In "Clown", she wore a gold dress, and in "Honey", a blue mini dress.
For "I know what you want", she sang the song with back dancers and wore pink sunvoisor and sexy mini jeans.
For "Subtle invitation", she appered from ceiling with white dress and sat down on the piano.
On "My saving grace", she was like a great oprea singer!! MC was humming with the band when she introduced them,
Then she sang "I'll Be There" with Trey, and he sang a song by himself. On "Bringin' on the Heartbreal", she wore a red dress,
For "Fantasy" and "Always Be My Baby", sexy pink short pants.
She walked from left of the stage to right side of the stage for "Make it happen", Good beat! We were dancing. I know MC loves this song.
Encore - "Hero", with a white long dress (I remembered my hard time and the Rainbow), "Butterfly (Outro)" and lastly - "All I want for christmas is you" where they were all dressed like Santa Clauses.
Her voice was so strong. And there are many of my favorite songs. I was moved and I got energy from her. My friend (she likes Mariah Carey, but she wasn't a big fan) told me she would buy her CDs and the show was wonderful and MC refreshed me. My friend was exciting.
This is my guess, but I think the concert schedule is too tight. She must be tired. But she gave us touching songs and beautiful voice and energy and SMILE!!! It was the best day that I could listen to her songs live. I have reasons why I like MC songs. I wrote it in the fan letter. Thank you everyone!!!

I went to Mariah's concert yesterday (7/6) and it was amazing! I had front row seats and it was so cool!! I always needed binoculars to see Mariah at her concerts but this time I didn't.
I hung my banner that I made for her which I also hung and showed it to her at the airport.
The hall was really small and I heard that even if you were in the back of the arena, you could see well. The sound was great too!
Before the show, the opening acts sang and they were very good and cute, I cant beleive Sadie is 7 years old!!
The concert began and the setting was great! It was really like the Moulin Rouge. Mariah came from the right arena and everyone was shouting "Mariah!!"
There was another song that she appeared from a suprising place! Her voice was amazing and i think she was in very well condition. During the show, she sang many high notes! She danced and spoke Japanese and it was really fun
There were only a few people holding the pen lights which made me sad cause Mariah really likes that.
So if you go to her concert, you should buy the penlights and wave it. They sell it at her merchandise corner.
The band and background singers' introduction was very cool! She was introducing them by singing and it was really cute when she sang "Genkidesuka?" (it means how are you). Mariah and the background singers also sang a little of "Big Nasty" and it was funny!
After the introduction, Mariah and Trey sang "I'll Be There" and right before they started to sing, they were looking at the audience and recognized my Big Nasty-Trey sign and they were like look, and pointed at me. When Mariah sang "Always Be My Baby" she kicked big balloons to the audience! Some lucky fans got it and brought them home
When she sang "Make It Happen", which was the last song before encore, I was holding the Jack stuff animal and was waving it. Then Mariah noticed it and gestured something like "is it for me?" and i was like YES!! And then she was like I'll get it later! I was soooo happy!! But after that, even more special things happened;
When she came out and sang "Hero", she started to come down to the audience. When Mariah came near me, I handed her my sunflower that I got and got my hand out to shake hands. I got to and she didn't release my hand and looked at me and sang and i sang along too!! I was soooo happy!! She was so beautiful too!! And she had my sunflower all the time during "Hero"!! It was amazing!!
The show ended with "All I Want For Christmas" and she was very cute. The show went kind of fast with less talking because she had to rest and get ready for her show in 2days.
After the show, I got to go to her dressing room and she told me that she remembered my banner at the airport and during the concert:) She also told me that she noticed me holding the Big Nasty-Trey sign:)
I told her thank you for the time when she sang "Hero" and that the show was great! She was really nice!!!
Thank you for this great day, Mariah!!! And I would like to thank Mark, Arlete, and all the other crew and HoneyB.Fly for helping me give Mariah the fan-bracelet!!

The first day in Tokyo was on the 6th (SUN), which I was there. The seats seemed like almost occupied, the atmosphere and the size of the hall was much better than Tokyo Dome
regarding to seeing her performance. Budokan is smaller than Tokyo Dome and nice size for live performance.
Mariah appeared from an entrance on the audience level (ground level) as she was singing HeartBreaker. Needless to say, audience on the grand
level got so excited to see here near by, some were able to touch her so close. Some fans burst into tears as "Real Mariah" was there!
Mariah looked very cute and sexy as always, and her singing was so good with powerful voice and the "Mariah's-crystal-High-note" . She actually
hit the high note many times at the concert, and even the sound in Budokan was clear enough to catch it and her beautiful voice. Again, everything was much better than Tokyo Dome overall.
Mariah looked a bit nervous, which I understand as it's the first time for her to perform in Budokan, but everything went smoothly.
Like "Mariah and lambs in a house!" Not all audience seemed her die-hard fans, but they seemed enjoyed her performance as well. We, "Lambs" were
there with handmade signs, boards and some sunflowers and Mariah noticed them and pointed them out. There were a few signs for Trey as well, and the both Mariah and Trey looked very happy to see them.
Overall, it was a good start in Tokyo, and I hope the rest of 2 more days in Budokan will go well. I've heard a rumor that TV recording was on-going on the 1st day in Tokyo, but I'm not sure of it.
The tracks were from her old and new albums, it was great to listen to "My Saving Grace", "Through the Rain", "Bringin' On The Heartbreak" live, (of
course more from Charmbracelet), the live arrange vocal was really Mariah-Like.
Additionally, AIWFCIY was the last song, even it's Summer here
What I can say is, "Charmbracelet Tour" is for lambs, and we all should feel what Mariah has been wanting to say!
Great live shows, welcome back to Japan, Mariah! Cheers!
