Last night, I had one of the most surreal experiences of my life. After years of waiting for Mariah to come down here, watching her on TV, listening to her music and putting her pictures on my wall, the moment arrived. I finally saw Mariah with my own eyes. A lot of people do not fully understand what it is with me and Mariah, but I can honestly say that this was the HAPPIEST moment of my life!

While driving on the freeway to the Woodlands Pavillion, my friend and I saw a Limo truck. (looked like an extended ford explorer or something). We thought it might have been her, but we just kept on. While we walked after parking the car, we were talking about it and some women in fromt of us overheard us. They said they saw the limo pull into the back of the venue. IT WAS MARIAH!!!!! We were on the same freeway as her!!!!!

As we parked the car, I began to get nervous and giddy! It was actually happening!!! I was going to see Mariah!!!! After taking the long walk from the lot to the venue, what I called the "nature trail", I showed the attendants my ticket, got checked at security (no, they didn't see my camera in my bra) and I was off.

I arrived about 8 pm. I figured since Mariah had gotten there same time as we did, she wouldn't be on for a while. I went to go look at the merchandise they had available, but then I heard a loud roar from the crowd. I charged to get to my seat to go see what was going on. They were just welcoming the comic. Steve Byrne, I believe. On a normal day, he would have been funny. He was very funny, but due to my anxiety and my deep desire to see Mariah, he just got annoying. But he did take my mind off of wanting to see her so bad for a few minutes. After he left the stage, a screen came down. Printed on it looked like a variety of things from the victorian age, like trinkets and jewelry. Pink spotlights came on the screen, and we thought it was time. It wasn't. Snoop Dogg songs began to play while crew members set up the stage with a table with what looked or cup of tea and a box of kleenex. I don't know. As well was an easel with what I think was a painting of Mariah. I could only see that back of it from where I was seated. But I did have pretty good seats. I looked at the clock on my phone, it read 8:47. I sat talking to the girl next to me, with my stomach turning. I took a glance at what was going on behind the curtain (I could see from where I was sitting). Then I saw someone who looked like her walk backstage. I screamed, "Look there she goes!" I certainly looked like her, but I am not sure if it was because she had on a different outfit. Maybe she changed right before. People turned to look, but whoever it was walked behind the curtain again, so I was looking dumb.

At 9:00pm, the house lights came down and a spotlight soared across the audience. On the screens came a movie type thing, like going through a house or city or something playing all of her hits. It was time. Mariah was spotted walking along the sides of the venue, coming around then finally came through the center aisle. The Heartbreaker Remix played. I rushed to the other end, where MC was coming, but the swarm fo fans blocked my view. she was surrounded by guards. I caught a glimpse of the back of her head. She sang Heartbreaker and the Remix the same way she did it on the MTV special Shining Through The Rain. Then there was Dreamlover! Then there was Through the Rain. While everyone sat for the slow songs, I stood. Throwing my hands up with every note she hit! It was like I was in church! I don't even act like that in church! Same with My All. It was pretty cool how the dancers danced to the club mix while she went to change. During Clown she sat on some circus thing. It was like where elephants put there foot on when they do a trick. It was great...and of course an obvious reference to Eminem. She fell to her knees during Can't Take That Away. Beforehand she said that it was lyrically important to her and that the fans voted for it. It was beautiful and it was even better after we'd listened to it in the car on the way there! Her preformance last night solidified the message of the song for me. I will never hear it the same way again!

At various points of the show she stopped to take a sip of tea! I kept saying, "GET YO DRINK ON GIRL!!!" and when she was getting primped I said, "YOU LOOK GOOD GIRL!!!!" It was great, I loved it!

Then, there was Honey. they played the beginning part with Eddie Griffin on the screen while she changed. I said everythin she said on the video really loud before she said it. Like, when she was like "No comprendo...su pelo" and "How bout some gum please?" and "Not for me, for you. Uh..." and all that. I said that really loud. Then there she performed all the songs like on the set list.

I Know What You Want...clips from the video played on the screens and even the curtain. She walked out from the left side with a short skirt and a harley davidson tube top. She danced pretty good with her dancers. HER DANCERS MADE THE SHOW COMPLETE!! THEY HARDLY GET ANY PROPS, BUT I GOTTA GIVE IT UP!!!!! THEY DID WELL THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE THING.

Subtle Invitation...she come down on a white sheet hanging from the top of the stage. She sat on the piano, then laid down on it. I don't remember if she walked on stage though.

My Saving Grace...she described it was being kinda autobiographical. RIVETING!!!! SHE BROUGHT THE HOUSE DOWN.

She introduced the band. She forgot one band member during the little into and she was like "Oh my goodness, I almost forgot about one really important person. I'm sorry, please forgive me." I kept saying, "Girl it's alright, we forgive you!" Really loud. Then she told the story of one of her backup singer's man's wandering eye. Singing about how she caught some "skinny heffers on a truck" with her man. Her backup singer sang "If you mess with my mess, I'ma be the one to bring it to you." That part was great! While she was introducing Trey she was saying something about his nickname, before she said what it was. So I yelled out, "BIG NASTY" and i heard that she said, "That's it". That was the FIRST time Mariah acknowledged me... I am getting to the second. Then it was "I'll be there" with Trey. BEAUTIFUL!!! Then Trey sang "Friend of Mine". I DON'T KNOW WHY HE ISN'T MORE FAMOUS THAN HE IS!!!!! HE CAN BLOW WITH THE BEST OF THEM!!!!

...Heartbreak!!!--ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!!! Just like on the video, she leaned over to the side when she hit the high note!!! PERFECT!!! She had on a dress that looked like the one in the video, but I don't know if that was it because it looked a little darker, maybe it was the lighting.

EVERYONE GOT UP WHEN FANTASY REMIX STARTED TO PLAY!!!!! I had to stand on my chair!!!! Not that I am short, but I wanted her to see me! Mariah was wearing a pink and blue outfit, hard to describe in paper. She did the same dances that were down for Fantasy on the "Around The World" tape. Chairs and all. THEN THE MOMENT ARRIVED WHEN MARIAH SPOKE TO ME!!!!!

ALWAYS BE MY BABY... It was great! The dancers came out and threw beach balls into the audience. People just tossed them up like they didn't want them so they flew all over the place for a little while. I didn't get one though.

AND NOW THE GREATEST PART!!!!!! Mariah was going around on all sides of the stage, acknowledging the fans' signs. She was saying to one group, "Oh look at all the happy birthday signs. All those people saying happy birthday to themselves." Then she comes to my side of the stage!!! Everyone was standing up, and I wanted to stand out. I had been holding a "Can I Have a Hug" sign throughout the entire show, so I figured that this was my chance! I stood on top of the chair, held my sign up high, and then SHE SPOKE TO ME!!! She said, "I see on your sign that you want a hug. Well, I'm gonna give you one from here!!" She stretched her arms out to her side like she was gonna give me a hug. I pointed at her and blew her a kiss!!! I can't believe that she spoke me!! WE MADE EYE CONTACT!!!! Even though it was only for a few seconds, I felt really special!!!! MARIAH WILL DO THAT TO YA!!!!!!! I was kinda hoping she'd call me up on stage, but this was good enough!!! She ALWAYS comes through!!! Funny thing is, one of the security people saw me standing on the chair, told me to get off, but she had a smile on her face, so it wasn't like she was being mean or anything; she could clearly see that I was having a good time!

After that she did Make It Happen, Vision of Love, Hero, and left on Butterfly!!! After Make It Happen, everyone took their bows and left the stage. Mariah said "Thank You" and left. People were actually leaving, thinking that it was over. Well they missed Vision of Love and Hero!!!! BEAUTIFULLY SUNG!!! She even gave us one last high note at the end of Hero!!! Then when the Butterfly outro played, I stood on the chair again, and watched her ascend the stairs only to slowly go down into them. I could see behind the steps and saw her walk off after she was lowered. Trey and them (I call the back up singers that 'cause I can't remember the rest of their names....sorry) sang Butterfly and the show was over. On the screen it read, "The End".

At the end of the show (and at some points during), people kept coming up to me saying that based on how i was acting, singing all the words and acting a fool, they could tell that I AM her biggest fan!!!!!! when I was leaving my seat some random person came up to me and said, "I saw her talking to you!!!" I knew this for all of two seconds, and we hugged. We jumped around screaming, just totally ecstatic! MARIAH WILL DO THAT TO YOU!!! I think that Trey and the other singers noticed me, standing during every performance and flipping out!

Mariah's voice epitomizes the American dream! She is beautiful and this was the GREATEST day of my life. I lost some of my voice, I sweated so hard that the ticket stub in my backpocket was getting wet, I shot the majority of my roll of film within the first few songs, my arms are hurting from throwing them up and pumping my fists. I swear it was a workout!!! But from 9:00pm to 10:45pm my dream came true!!! MARIAH YOU ARE THE GREATEST!!! HOUSTON LOVEs YA, WE LOVE YA, I LOVE YA!!!! COME BACK ANYTIME!!!! (my next mission, meet her for real...lol) THANKS MARIAH!!!!

***TO ALL OTHER LAMBS READING....YEAH I WAS THE ANNOYING GIRL WHO WOULDN'T SIT DOWN OR SHUT UP!!! SORRY IF I BLOCKED YOUR VIEW OR KEPT YOU FROM HEARING!!!***

Ok. First off, I this nite was the best in my life. Ok well, to start off, the only sleep that I had was the 20 minutes in the car...(I was coming from San Antonio, so the drive was like 5 hours...so 20 minutes was nothing) I was so tired. But it was all worth it. I had been working on the fanbook for literally weeks up intil the last minute in the car. I think the book turned out good...I was so focused on getting in everyones entries that I had not even done mine until I was in the car. but Everything turned out well. Thanks to everyone that had participated in it, and for all of your notes. I really appreciated it.

Well, we arrived at the Pavillion at 6:00, I went straight to the Will Call Window to pick up my passes, I was so excited. When the girl handed them to me, I was literally shaking. I waited at the window to meet some up woth some people that wanted to sign the book. But no one showed up, so I was like ok. So I waited with my mom inline and kept watch for people...but didnt see anyone, so when they opened the gates at 6:30 I went in, thinking I would go in, and wait by the gates with my book. BTW, I was able to get in a 2 cameras, a real one, and a disposable. My mom had the real one in her purse and I had the otherr in my pants, behind my belt buckle. NO metal detectors, AT ALL! BUT, they were making people pull their shirts tight so they could check if they had something hidden. I was like. um....so i shoved the camera down....and it went into my underwear...yeah, not too pleasant, but oh well. I managed to take 3 rolls of pics and a disposable. Ok, so I go up to the girl, and shes like, "whats this?" referring to the book. I tell her my whole story and show her my passes...she didnt get the idea it was not a gift(which they were checking in at guest services), I told her, nevermind, i would wiat to go in later after i met up with the people. she then asked me to wait, called someone, and they called someone...and finally asked me to enter to talk to the backstage mgr. i did, and finally the just told me no, and i had to check it in, i could get it after the show. Well, that just totally was not fair for me. I didnt get to meet up with people and I could not go back outside to meet people cuz if I did, I wasnt allowed to re-enter. So Im sorry to all those people who waited for me.

ok, i go in, get something to drink and but my souveniors, and proceed to my seat which want too bad, Center, Row E. I meet up woth some other people. chat and so forth.

at about 8:15ish. a comedian opened up, he was funny...but I didnt really pay too much attenetion.

8:40ish- It gets dark and people start screaming, and yeah finally the music starts, everyone satands up, and there she is singing "Heartbreaker/Heartbreaker Remix". She was wearing a purple and silver one piece beaded ensemble. It was great. she came down the isle and made her way up to the stage. I stood on my seat to see her, I was so happy and nervous I couldnt get my seat down, my mom had to help me. I wanted to start crying. Mariah Then preceeded by singing "Dreamlover", then she took a seat on thie big reddish chair to sing "Through The Rain" which she sang sitting down, it was so amazing to watch her belt out those notes sitting down....then she did performed "My All" and went into the club mix, just the dancers while she went off for a costume change.

Next time she came out, she was wearing a gold lamme dress, which was beautiful. She Sang "Clown"(which Im sure by now everyone knows the story about the backwards 'E' and the guys in Nixon masks...) and the chosen song of the nite, "Can't Take That Away" which was so moving, and it was so pretty with the purple lights in the back ground. After that, she left for another change.

After a little bit, the screen came down, and the opening of the "Honey" video appeared on the screen, and then there she is again. This time in a blue, flowered number ensemble. It was a good performance I loved it.

Once again, the screen appeared and then the "I Know What You Want" video came appeared....along with the dancers...it was cute. they kinda mixed the song up a bit, and then Mariah came out to do her thing, wearing her "Automatic Princess" denim shorts, a black 'Harley Davidson' top, really cute, and a pink sun visor. She really only sang her part, and ran off stage..as quickly as she appeared she was gone. But the video continued to play...everyone was looking around, waiting for her to return i assume.

Then the curtains opened to show a black grand piano and then there she was. She came down from the rafters sitting in a white swing, made from a drape, it looked like. Wearing of course a short white ensemble, Cute! She ascended down onto the piano singing "Subtle Invitation", then Roque came out to fix her hair, and then she sang "My Saving Grace"(which she hit some really high High notes). Next he went on to introduce the band and her singers. That was awesome. She did a little impove thing, and each member played a little something. She went over to the singers and forgot to introduce the keyboard player, so she went back, he played like a scale going all the way up to the highest note on the keyboard, and she matched it, and then went above it. Too cool. Then she introduced the "fantastic four', her singers, Takyetha, Sherry, Mary Ann, and Trey. MC started telling a story about Sherry and her 'man' about how he was in the lobby of their hotel with some "skinny heffers" ,as Mariah put it. She then went on and last was Trey. Well, of course. They both sang "I'll Be There", great performance, and then Mariah was gone.

Trey and her singers went on to sing "Friend of Mine". All of them can sing!

Suddenly there she was again, her hair re-done, and in a Maroon ensemble singing "Bringing on The Heartbreak". Awesome performance. She really got into the song. after this, she left again and the song continued with her singers and Guitar player, Vernon Black playing.

Soon after this, the screen appeared again and the opening shot with "ODB" came up and then there she was again, singing "Fantasy". This was a good performance because she actually sang this song(she use to lip-synch when she performed this before so she could sing) but it was all live. She wore pink shorts and a blue tank that read "automatic princess". She the sang "Always Be My Baby". In like the middle of this song her dnacers came out with big beachballs, and tossed them into the audience. It looed really cool watching them fly up in the air, I wanted one so bad, but I never was able to get my hands on one, they were all being hit behind me. Then finally I caught one, and heldf onto it. I wasnt going to let anyone have it. The people around me were motioning for me to throw it back into the air, but I was like um..no...and put it by my feet. This ball was MINE! :) ok. So after That, she sang "Make It Happen". She waved said, goodnite, and everyone bowed. Then she left People then started leaving Im like...um, hello, it's not over!

Then a minute later, the "ring master" came out a got everyone cheering" and guess what...there she was again. She was wearing a beautiful feathered number. awesome. She continued with "Vision of Love" and "Hero" in BOTH of these sonds she hit some high notes, it was so moving for me, I wanted to cry. after that she then went up the stairs, sang the "Butterfly" outro, waved, and left. then the lights came on.

OK. well, by this time, I realzed I was going to actually Meet Mariah! So I rushed to go get my book, while my mom waited for me. Well, Im trying to hurry, but there are WAY too many people, and I am holding this big Beachbal. not fun. But it was ok. Well, I gte to the desk, and they tell me I need to get permission from someone in a green shirt in order to pick up my book on this side of the gate(although the person telling me this is the same lady that took my book from me) so i loko around and finally find a girl. I take her with me but she says I need to put on my pass. So I have to run back to my mom to gte it. While Im putting it on, this guy and girl come up to me, and say, "So you get to go backstage?" I was like. yeah...and the girl was like. is someone going with you? I point to my mom, and she said oh...I was like yeah, and she then asks me..well, I'll give you some money if you can LEND him your pass, he can go in, and come back out to give it to you. I was thinknig to myself, F**k That! but I said no, im sorry, they wont let you, and I can't. she said ok, and left. then I left to go get my book. I get there with my pass, the SAME lady hassles me again, and I tell her, and show her my pass. she starts yapping away, I need permission, so I was frustrated, so I left her talking while I went to find the other lady AGAIN! Well, I did, and she went with me to get it, told her I was ok. and gave me my book.

I ran back to find my mom and she tells me that the guy a returned after I left. she basically said, "can i have your pass?" my mom said, "No, Im sorry" he replies, "im sorry ma'am, I just had to ask, Im just like her so much." I mean. I just though he was kind of rude, huh? oh well. so My mom and I take off to go sit down, all hot and starting to sweat(the concert was outside) we get there, line up and go into the waiting room. Right in front of the door was Wayne, her bodyguard, he was eating, He was like, 'Im sorry, Im hugrty I havent eaten all day', we just laughed.

We waited in the room for about 45 minutes, chatting with other fans, mingling, watching the MTV Awards, and some people sign the book, and then the guy calls group 2. OMG, my stomach is turning, im so nervous, I start shaking, and then we are waiting outside the room in line, we see everyone pass by, Michael(Tour mgr), Kris(make-up), it was so wierd seeing these people in person. and then we start waling in.

As I got into the door Wayne(bodyguard) aske me, "is that the fanbook?" i was like uh-huh...just looking at MC, and he tells her, "he has the fanbook." and motions for me to go that way, so I do, and I got to hand it to her, she asks, "is this the fanbracelet?" i was like. "yes" and she said "very cute!" They told me to put my beachball in the corner so i did. Then someone told her to hold up the book in the pic, and she did!

I forgot to mention, she looked so beautiful, wearing a short, pink ensemble, showing her legs, beautiful. she looked like a doll.

So it comes my turn to get my item signed, so I get my poster signed and, I had heard this girl ask for a hug and she gave her one, so i was pondering on whether or not I should ask....so I did, and her bodyguards are like no, we dont have time for hugs or to personalize, but she gave me one anyway! it was awesome! she was so tall, and perfect, With the perfect shape. It was like looking at something right out of a magazine. anyway. I move out of the way and my mom got my program signed :) well, im in the corner with some other people and then Blair comes in(her stylist, along with Letty, her personal assistant. Then they told us to please wait oustide, so we did, and I got a peek inside the wardrobe room where I saw her shoes, OMG, those things are like 5 inches, atleast! They then escort us outside and tell us by, and that was it.

Well, this nite turned out to be the best nite I had every had, I was happy, everything just went by so fast, it seemed so sureal. But It was the best nite. Thanks to everyone at MonarC and HoneyBFly. and to all the fans that participated in the book. I developed my pics, I just have to get them scanned. I told my parents on our way home, that if god wanted to take me tomorrow, go ahead, my life was now complete. OK, well, thanks again. buh bye!
